Another good day on the ED, its amazing how everything usually just comes down to habit, either good or bad, thankfully I'm on good habits now, even while I was in the shop today, I was next to the sweets aisle and whereas even 2 weeks ago, I'd be craving something, it doesn't even bother me now.
As I say it all comes down to habit now, I don't need those things, I don't buy those things, it does become very easy. The more I shop well, the less likely I will deviate.
Even one of my clients, who is on ED, said when they brought cakes round her office, she thought she would be tempted, but she looked at them and didn't even feel like one, she said, brilliant.
So it kind of amazes me, when people say I couldn't go 30 days, without "fill in your own food vice here" as, firstly everyone can go 30 days, without these things, 30 days is not long no matter who you are, and the funny thing is, you only need to work through the first 5-6 days and then, as I said its habit not to have these things, now who can't give up, chocolate or alcohol or coffee for 6 days ?
Tonights useful info, is on Cinnamon, a spice people use a lot for taste, but probably don't realise all of its benefits.
Cinnamon originates from Asia, especially Sri Lanka and India. Now the shrub is grown in almost every tropical region of the world. The herb, owing to its vast medicinal uses, had found a prominent position in traditional medicines, especially Ayurveda (the traditional Indian medicinal system).

Researchers at the US Department of Agriculture's Human Nutrition Research Center in Beltsville, Maryland, studied the effect of various food substances including cinnamon on blood sugar. They found that a water-soluble polyphenol compound called MHCP which is abundant in cinnamon synergistically acted with insulin and helped in the better utilization of insulin.
