This is the day before I start on my Elimination Diet.
Time to get prepared !
So this morning I set about my food cupboards, removing all non ED (Elimination Diet) compliant foods, well to be honest not all, but all the ones that I knew could tempt me to break the diet.
This wasn't too hard a task, especially after the Christmas, New Year period, where I think I consumed pretty much everything on the banned list !
Next up was food shopping, preparation is a major part in anyone success in healthy nutrition, if you only have healthy ED compliant food in the house, thats all you can eat
So off to the local shops, which is where I came across what could've been my first stumbling block. Living on an island (Jersey) and it being Sunday 2nd January, there hadn't been any deliveries for a couple of days, so shelves were a little bare.
None the less, I managed to get together some lettuce, peppers, carrots, beetroot, avocado and houmous, which will cover my breakfast, until I can get more supplies in tomorrow afternoon.
Next up, I decided some 'before' photos might be a good idea (that was until i saw them) now I'm not a lot overweight, but Christmas has obviously played its toll on me, especially my abdomen area, now this could be fat or inflammation, both of which I hope to talk about as we go through the 30 days.
The photos are not the best, but should be good enough to show the improvements as I get healthier.
So I've posted them below
I'm not a great believer in weighing myself, but for this I have decided I will, as I have no scales in my house I will do this tomorrow and post the results then.
Looking forward to getting started and now about to prepare tomorrows meal, so its ready and I'm off to the best start.
