Day Four and Vitamin C

Day Four has been a down and up day !
Woke up, with an amazing thirst, which lasted all day, need to keeps those fluids up, to help flush out the toxins that are now back in my system.
Still had a bit of a headache today, nothing like before, but was still there, mouth was dry and felt like I had a fuzzball in it, but the mouth, tongue is one of the areas that toxins will come out, so was half expecting  this, doesn't make it any more pleasant though.
As I said, the main thing is keeping the fluids up, and really believe the Vitamin C, is playing a major part in not feeling a lot worse.

SOME VITAMIN C INFO

Vitamin C is something we cannot produce ourselves, this is believed to have came about from the days, when humans ate large amounts of Vitamin C rich, fruit and vegetables, there was no longer a need for the body to reproduce it.
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is necessary for the growth, development and repair of all body tissues. It's involved in many body functions, including formation of collagen, absorption of iron, the immune system, wound healing, and the maintenance of bones, and teeth.

Vitamin C is one of many antioxidants that can protect against damage caused by harmful molecules called free radicals, as well as toxic chemicals and pollutants like cigarette smoke. Free radicals can build up and contribute to the development of health conditions such as cancer,

Also as we don't store Vitamin C in our bodies, overdose is not a problem, what your body doesn't need it will pass out, in some treatments of cancer, patients have been given doses of 200 - 300 grams a day, with the only side effect being thirsty and peeing more.

Good sources of Vitamin C include, peppers,  oranges, watermelon, grapefruit, cantaloupe, strawberries, kiwi, mango, broccoli, tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage, and citrus juices. Raw and cooked leafy greens (turnip greens, spinach).

I also got a good deadlift session in today (10 sets ascending weight) which may also helped as it got a good sweat on, plus was happy with my strength and finishing weight, so the detox doesn't seem to be having an effect there.
Really looking forward to tomorrow now, as I hope/feel I've started to turn the corner regarding feeling bad, got prawn stir fry for dinner tonight too.
